OUR STORY

Clockwork Dog started in 2015 when Tom, a software developer, said to his friend Alex, a filmmaker: “Can you help me build an escape room?”. Both fans of immersive theatre, they both agreed it had to be a memorable experience, not just a game. Using their respective skills, they created a sell out piece.

Tom & Alex wanted to be much more ambitious with their next escape room - “Loop” - a mind bending time-travel idea. In need of more skills, they asked Eyal, a theatre director, to help them. Together, they created a custom software/hardware system that made the game a hit.

The company continued designing & installing live games for all kinds of experiential events, including the launch of the Tomb Raider movie in 2017. During these adventures, their proto show control system became more sophisticated and they started selling versions of it to clients, including Escape Hunt. In 2018, COGS 1 was born.

Many installations, versions of COGS & a pandemic later they started designing systems for immersive theatre with Monopoly Lifesized in 2021. Followed by Peaky Blinders: The Rise, Secret Cinema, Saw: The Escape Experience and much more.

Clockwork Dog have since grown in size and ambition, but we continue to make all kinds of experiences memorable through our technology and expertise.
